Microarray Facility

Under the direction of Dr. Holly Dressman, the Duke Microarray Facility provides services for the analysis of gene expression to Duke researchers and their collaborators. The facility is operated jointly with the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Institute and is also supported through NIH Neuroscience Microarray Consortium grant. Analysis of gene expression includes two technologies for this analysis using DNA arrays - the Affymetrix GeneChip analysis system and custom printed (spotted) oligonucleotide microarrays - as well as services for RT-PCR:

The Microarray Facility also maintains a comprehensive database server to manage the massive amounts of data generated by microarray analysis. The facility provides data analysis support through various software packages as well as gene annotation support:

Requests for Microarray services are handled by secure online submission forms.
